With the southern hemisphere gearing up for winter, wouldn't it be nice to be able to flick a switch and change the weather? That was the simple, focused premise behind the online campaign for Panasonic Heatpumps. I worked with Publicis Digital, bringing together scripting and classic animation in a rich-media format for a big impression.
The first banner ran on the Yahoo! Weather page, literally changing the days outlook as storm clouds melted into sunshine. The second banner continued the theme on the News page, evaporating a gloomy headline story in a breezy, shimmering mirage of heat.
